Youth 2 Youth Cameroon
We partnered with Youth 2 Youth Cameroon, a youth-led organization focused on improving adolescent health care through SRHR advocacy and HIV/AIDS prevention. Our mission was to develop a website that effectively communicates their objectives, engages the youth, and promotes their health-oriented initiatives. The result was a user-friendly, engaging website that increased online engagement and facilitated better outreach to the target audience.
Problem
The organization faced significant challenges due to their minimal online presence, which hindered their ability to reach and engage with adolescents and youths effectively. Their existing digital footprint was almost non-existent, making it difficult for them to inform, educate, and interact with their target audience about important health practices and upcoming events. They needed a comprehensive digital platform to bridge this gap and enhance their outreach efforts.
Task
Our scope of work included developing a dynamic and responsive website that would serve as the primary digital platform for the organization. We aimed to integrate features that would facilitate SRHR advocacy and HIV/AIDS prevention education. Additionally, we planned to implement a content management system (CMS) for easy updates and content additions, design a user-friendly interface to enhance engagement, and incorporate event management tools to promote and organize outdoor events targeting youths.
We designed a vibrant, youth-oriented website with intuitive navigation and a responsive layout for both desktop and mobile devices. A user-friendly content management system allows easy updates and event management. Dedicated sections for SRHR advocacy and HIV/AIDS prevention feature informative articles, videos, and resources. An event management system facilitates registrations and updates. We optimized the site for search engines, added interactive quizzes and forums, and integrated social media feeds.
